Anyone can make this simple, old-fashioned, and tasty appetizer of celery sticks stuffed with a cream cheese and green olive filling. The green celery and olives with red pimiento pieces look pretty on an appetizer tray, too.
Stuffed celery, it's easy to make and kids love it. My Great Grandma always made this and my cousins and I used to fight over the last piece.

Spicy and low-carb, this savory stuffed celery makes a great appetizer. This recipe was originally submitted to ThanksgivingRecipe.com. Serve with black and green olives, and red pepper rings to garnish.
a perfect 10! quite a tradition in my family 50 years ago and over the years, i have shared this appetizer on a relish tray and even as a side on holidays..munch and crunch away!
Had a whole bunch of leftover celery and looked for a way to use it up. This is sooooo good, I could have eaten the cream cheese mixture on it's own. I loved it would serve it at a party but the fiance wasn't too keen on the strong flavors, he is a celery + pb kinda guy. Don't worry about the garlic, it is tamed by the cream cheese, and the olives are my favorite part!
The flavor of this basic bread stuffing is boosted by the addition of several cups of chopped celery. This recipe yields enough dressing to stuff a 10-15 pound turkey. Bake the dressing that doesn't fit in the cavity of the turkey in a buttered baking dish. Try putting the stuffing under the skin of the breast. It makes the turkey very moist!
